Hi guys, any advice on either issue would be nice!
So today I got a mid-sized mutt on Craigslist. She's 1 year old, has no shots records, and isn't fixed. She also shows visible signs of having puppies, is missing most teeth, and has had part of her ribcage kicked in (and healed over). I have a visit to the pet hospital on Thursday, but I'm still worried about her. Any tips on making her life easier while she's transitioning to a safer lifestyle? She seems accepting and not afraid, but I don't know if she's just putting on a doggy front.
Also, how do you acclimate cats to dogs? My boss said to isolate the cat in a room for a few days until it's used to the dog's scent. The issue is that the cat is slamming her body against my roommates door and meowing. She tried to attack the dog, but had lived with dogs previously. Any advice?
