Just curious I’ve had my wire haired terrier for about five years and she’s always gotten along with my cat. They share water dish and she has even let my cat eat out of her food bowl no problem. But for the past few weeks she has started growling at the cat and chasing him through the house if they ever get into the same room with each other. The only change I can think of is I had to board my dog for a few days but she was not near any cats as the vets office has the boarding area separate (by the length of the building) from any cats.
I’m just at a loss. I love both my animals but I’m scared the terrier is going to hurt the cat. Both are fixed so I know it’s not a heat issue.
