As painful as this is for all of us, I need to be strong and push forward for some help. Yesterday, I found out my dog was hit by a car while I was at work whilist the dog was being taken care of by the rest of my family.
We took him to the hospital, and we were told he has a fractured pelvis. He's been in there since yesterday, and he's under medication. We got the X-rays back this morning, and was told the surgery would be $4,000. We don't have that type of money, even in payments. The consultation and Xrays already cost us $700, and none of us have the type of money to keep paying for the surgery.
My question is simply this, what should I do? The doctor gave us the option to take him home, but I don't know what to do if we do. Putting him down would be my very last option, but if I take him home, what can I do to make sure he's healing the best to his ability?
