So my girlfriend has had a cat when she was younger so we're not completely new to this, but still, I want to be safe.
His name is Shoelace! Photos!
Soooooo:
- How much do we feed him, and when? He is just barely over a year old and is quite big for his age (I think). We have dried food that the shelter that had him (in a cat cafe of all places) makes his food.
- How to train him?
- He's already potty trained, his poops are huge though for a cat but idk if that's normal or not.
- How to get him to come by name?
- How to discipline him correctly? (He likes to chew on shoelaces and string which is where we got his name! The main thing is I can't let him chew on wires which he does sometime!)
- Fleas? How to check and remove!
- Biting and scratching: how do we stop and what can make him do this to us? He has done this maybe twice while we pet him, I think he might have a spot he doesn't like being pet that we don't know quite yet.
- How to bathe him in a way that he will like it!
- I want to be able to pick him up without him squirming, I know I can scruff him but don't want to rely on that and want to make it so he feels comfortable with this.
MISC.
He loves cuddling and pets, he cries when we leave the house, he is very affectionate, he is amazing and I love him. Very well behaved and quiet too! I want the best for him and want to be the best for him!
Thank you for your time and help!
