I recently adopted a 3month kitten from a shelter. I have had her for three days and noticed a “lump” on her right hind leg. It’s hard, asymmetrical, and very topical. I can grab it, move it around, and pinch my fingers together under it. Almost seems like a tiny pebble in her skin. I received her vaccination list as follows:
FELV TEST - NEG - 7.11.2019 FVR VACCINE 1 YR - 7.11.19 FVRCP - 7.10.19 FVRCP - 6.26.19 FVRCP - 5.16.19
I’m scared she has ISS for that is what keeps coming up when I search symptoms. My dog recently passed away (7.22.19) due to cancer. I had her for 13 years and had her leg amputated to fight her cancer but it reappeared. Im anxious my kitten now has cancer which is turning my insides.
I wanted to reach out and see if this is common for a kitten to have a lump or should I be worried like I am?
Thank you
EDIT: When I pinch the lump she is unfazed, It doesn’t hurt her
