My dog is over 13 years old. We’ve always been inseparable and suddenly he stopped sleeping in my room. He would rather sleep at the top of my steps or a couch downstairs. When I put him in my room and close my door he just stands at the door waiting for me to open it. He’ll come and “check in” on me then go back to waiting at the door.
What does this mean? It’s unusual behavior for him. He’s always slept on my bed or in his chair next to my bed (he’s very spoiled).
