I have two turtles (yellow-bellied sliders, I believe) and in their tank is a water filter. One of them, who I think has recently become a full two years old, has decided that she shall overcome the laws of physics and somehow slide herself between the tank's wall and the filter. I'm currently waiting for her to stop sitting triumphantly atop her fallen foe so I can plug it back in (I unplugged it because like that it's not doing much) and straighten it. It's just bizarre, I don't understand how this little turtle can just decide to perform a herculean task like that. Hmm... Can someone make r/herculesturtles be a thing?
