We recently adopted two cats, one adult and one kitten. The kitten keeps chasing and pouncing on the adult, causing the adult to hiss and run into hiding again and again. The kitten has plenty of toys, and doesn't get the message that the other cat doesn't want to play. The two are fine being in the same room together as long as the kitten doesn't try to play with the adult. We've tried doing a slow introduction with one cat in a separate room and feeding them near each other, but this hasn't helped much. Any advice to help these two along?
