So I just had my dog put to sleep.

She had a massive tumor keeping her from being able to breathe properly. Vets and I decided it was best to not allow her to suffer any longer. It was just such a shock. She was acting perfectly fine earlier in the day and an hour later, I notice something was wrong. I won’t go into any further details. She was the first dog I really ever owned myself. She was about 14 years old. I’m fine but it will take some time to get used to not having her in the house. I guess the point of this post is just because I feel I need to get this out and perhaps any tips on dealing with getting used to not having her in the house. I know it will be a weird feeling for a while.
