One of my one year old cat's favorite past times is scratching the bedroom carpet at 4am nonstop until she is given attention. Once I approach her, she stops only to start back up again a few minutes later.
I've made sure her food and water is full, sprayed her favorite areas with cat scratching spray (pretty much lemon water), tried using a water squirt gun, trimmed her claws.
I have no idea how to get her to stop. It seems like I haven't had a full night's sleep in months. Any suggestions?
