Haven’t had a dog in a couple years. I saw some story about a woman losing her limbs I believe? Or fingers due to getting an infection that her dog had. Don’t remember what it’s called but it’s rare... supposedly. I’m pretty paranoid about germs because they stress me out hence I wash my hands literally all day (work in the medical field so that’s why) I do love pets but the arising questions on “what if my dog gets this and gets my family sick?” Just pop up into my mind all the time. What’s the probability of something like that happening if the animal does get all the vaccinations they need? Sorry-I’m just paranoid and I overthink things too much.
