I hope this isn’t considered “begging”
My neighbors dogs are constantly escaping their home. They managed to squeeze through the fence separating their front and back yard, and are often loose and running through the part of our street. At first their constant barking was an issue, but I got used to it and I thought of it as an alarm system for intruders. It wasn’t until they started to leave their home and bark at anyone passing by. Two nights ago I heard my dog barking more than usual, and when I came outside I saw the two dogs charge at a couple with their baby barking. Luckily, my dad was out there cutting branches and scared them away. It left me rattled as it did the family. Who wouldn’t be scared of two large dogs charging at them barking? Their owners are completely oblivious to their behavior. My neighbors gate is always open, so that means the two dogs can leave and enter whenever they please. This isn’t the first time they have done this though, my dad recently saw his friend get stopped by the dogs as they continued to bark at him. He’s an elderly man ( my dads friend ). A similar accident happened with another a woman who was jogging. I’m starting to worry because schools right around the corner, and I’m terrified that I might run into the on my way home from school. I don’t wanna making things awkward with these people, but it’s becoming dangerous that these dogs are running loose unsupervised barking at people. I’ve never spoken to them and neither has my family, they moved in earlier this year and we’ve never exchanged words or anything. I’d hate for this to be the time to actually engage in conversation with them now. I’m worried for other people on my street, my family, my pets, and myself. I don’t know what i can do, and it’s stressing me out. Please help.
