I have 2 tabby house cats who are both males and get along absolutely fine, they like to play together which involves a lot of chasing and pinning and fighting, it’s great to watch them play and they both encourage each other and clearly enjoy it but unfortunately one just seems a little too rough as I keep finding scabs and small surface wounds on the other. I’ve started telling them off when they play now but it feels really harsh and you can tell it upsets them but I can’t exactly tell them to be softer with words. Do I have to just stop the playtimes all together or is there a better way?
