Is it weird that I’m 16 years old and I have 2 chinchillas and a hedgehog in my bed room? My parents also have a dog.

Like my friends have been treating me differently. Like I told one of my friends I’m getting a hedgehog on Monday and he said “oh well I eat it” (it was a joke) am I just overthinking this? Does this mean something.
