Around half a year ago, a black and white cat started showing up on our drive way. He was missing part of his ear but we didn't think he was a stray because when ever he left, he would go to the houses across and down the street (we never saw him enter one or a person looking for him). Eventually my gma put a bowl of cat food for him. Around a month or so later he started coming inside. He now stays inside and sleeps but we'll let him out every night and he comes back. My mom got him a blue collar I think was for fleas and ticks. When he started to like us we were able to find out he didn't have a collar. Are we doing something wrong for keeping him.
