Looking to interview anonymous pet owners who got ESA letters despite not requiring emotional support.

Hi all -- This is a bit of a crosspost from r/dogs although here I am extending it to all animals.

I’m a reporter with the Guardian looking to better understand why some people pass their pets off as ESA animals when they do not necessarily require support for an emotional or mental health condition. Interviews anonymous. Message me if you fit this description! If you have strong feelings about not-quite-emotional support animals or relevant anecdotes I appreciate hearing them too, maybe in the comments? Thank you for any help.
