Today I realized my kitten had a few fleas (she never goes outside, so I have no clue how they got in). I cleaned her off etc and can’t find any but she’s still scratching herself. Unfortunately our apartment is carpet so they’re undoubtedly making themselves at home right now.. I’ve only seen one off of my cat and it hopped off my leg before i could kill it. I’m freaked out because I don’t want it to be an endless cycle, my lease doesn’t end for a year, and flea control is quoted to be like $200 for my apartment. If I get my cat a good flea collar/medicine and clean the floors will that take care of the problem?? I’ve already been cleaning one room but I feel like it’s useless because they’re probably all hopping onto her and going room to room anyway
