My partner was walking our dog yesterday when she grabbed something off the ground. It was a disgusting, dead bird, and he tried to take it off her. In an act of pure stubbornness she swallowed it all down in one big gulp.
We didn't take her to the vet, mostly because I've had pets do things like this before and they were fine but we've been keeping an eye on her.
She seemed fine yesterday and I won't go in to any great detail but we're sure the bird has been digested, but she still seems a bit under the weather.
Her stomach is gurgling loudly and she's a bit gassy. She's eating but she's being fussy.
She has also had a couple of treats today that she maybe shouldn't have had, like a cheeseburger and some leftovers from a barbecue so it could be down to that as well.
Should I take her to the vet or give it a while and see how she gets on?
