Hi, I have a timid cocker spaniel who is scared of cars and popular areas, but he is comfortable at home and always comes over to us for attention and sleeps on our knee etc. Anyways he is quite routine based. When he is in his cage waiting for us to say good night to him, he will growl at me and my brother if we came anywhere near him. Not to my parents, just me and my brother. (I’m not so sure about my mother, but she doesn’t go to say night to him on a night so I don’t know if he growls at her or not). But he doesn’t growl at my father, explain.
