I am really interested in getting a small pet. My top two picks were hamsters and hedgehogs but research has proven that they aren’t as affectionate as I would desire. I really want something that enjoys me as much as I enjoy it or even something that just enjoys me at all. I’m unsure of if I could get that from hamsters and hedgehogs and it’s appearing that rats might be the best option as they’re more likely to fill what I need.
Would you recommend rats as a pet? Do they make affectionate pets? Are they cuddly? Will they enjoy human company? Thanks.
