Gf and I adopted sibling cats last year who were at the time about 3 months old. We adopted both of them because they were close and we didn't want to separate them. We've had them for almost a year now and they have always done everything together. Even just last night they were playing in the sheets.
We decided to let some friends stay over last night because they are driving across the country and they brought a cat with them. They took the cat straight into the spare bedroom.
I got up this morning to see my cats hissing at each other. I got some food out for them, but neither seemed interested. I'm assuming this is an issue with the friends cat, but I dont understand why they are hissing at each other. They have never done that in the past.
