My idiot cat (5 months ish) caught a bat and brought it inside. We froze the bat and we aren’t sure if it bit the cat. I’ll be taking the bat into the fish and wildlife dept tomorrow morning.
Cat is unvaccinated but our other animals (4 cats, 2 dogs) all are. Is it safe for him to be out and playing with them for the next couple days while I try to deal with this? I’m at work all day and he’ll be shut in my room if it’s not safe but he’s super upset after only 20 minutes of being away from his friends and he’s difficult to keep in the room with family members constantly coming in and out.
