so we adopted a dog that was presumably abused in a different household, i believe me and my family have taken care of it well, our dog alot of the times lays in my moms room, and when i come in the dog jumps at me, biting and clawing me, it doesn't usually do any damage but it does hurt alot, it happens most frequently in my moms room but it does sometimes happen in other places too, is this normal for a previously abused pet?
