My friend bought a female baby mouse from the pet shop lately, apparently the baby was not handled much when she was younger and refused to interact with my friend. She's not a patient owner, very irresponsible, I knew the baby isn't going to end well with her, so the mouse is now my problem.
I've had four rats in total, two of them are still around atm. Usually I can pick my rats up the first time we met and they could stay calm on me the first day, but it's pretty different with the baby mouse. I've left her alone in her cage for a day and she's still a bit unsure about being with me. I've read everywhere that I need to get another female so they can be happier, but one is the most I can do.
I'm not sure what should I do with the baby mousy. Is it possible to keep her happy and healthy by herself? Also, will she ever be like my other rattie girls that could interact and play with me?
Thank you so much and sorry for such a long post.
