So, unfortunately my dog is 97% outdoors and its only her out there. Recently, she is getting less attention cause family members got a job or started school again. Her barking has gotten very excessive at night now. Even after we go on walks and runs.
We also live near a fire-station so she is always howling at sirens ( which I like, but can get excessive some nights), if that matters.
So would getting her a shock collar for the night time a bad or good idea?
Will it effect her psyche/behavior negatively? She loves us and doesn't run away when she gets out. She always comes back when we call her. I don't want that to change cause we get her a shock collar.
