I adopted a kitten about 2 weeks ago, she is now 10 weeks old. I live in a guest house, which is essentially an efficiency apartment, just two large rooms that are open and connected. My kitten has made a habit of peeing on my bed, while I am asleep or while I am away. She will always poop in the litter, and will pee in it when I am home and awake. But every single night I wake up to a fresh urine spot, right where I am sleeping. Keeping her kenneled while sleeping is a last resort option, because if I do, she is in the same room as me, and meows nonstop, preventing me from sleeping. I have tried odor removers, and Feliway, as well as another cat spray deterrent, that so far have done nothing. I have tried leaving a tarp over my bed while I am gone, but then she will just pee on the tarp, and this is also not a solution for when I am sleeping. She has 2 litter boxes that are kept clean, one in each room, and will use them both during the day, so I do not think location or litter is an issue.
I am looking for any idea that I've yet to try, or anything useful that can help me break her of this habit. It has been an incredibly stressful 2 weeks, waking up to sleeping in urine every day, and ruining several sets of sheets. If anyone has any advice that could help I would be greatly appreciative.
Edit: spelling
