I have been going out with my girlfriend almost three years now and I have been living with her and her mother for two months. Right since the begining I have known her "pugalier" Bella, which is meant to be a cross between a pug and a cavalier.
Bella is a four year old pugalier that is not toilet trained, is hyperagressive to any and all strangers approaching the house, ceaslessly barks should any of us try to leave the house and/or people be outside. Additionally, to get her to stop barking, the gf's mother feeds her skittles (I swear to god, the dog has it's own bag). Yet the reason I am at my wit's end tonight is that she has bit me and drew blood for the fith or sixth time now. I tried to pick her up and remove her from my bedroom and she latched onto my thumb. She is a small dog so I am not severly injured.
I am at my breaking point. This is not my house, it is not my dog, yet I have been bitten by it now multiple times. I am trying to train it but it is so so difficult. Bella has become the gf's mother's dog over time and the pair sleep with each other everynight. There is a severe dysfunctionality going on here. I am so angry at the whole situation, to the point where it is seriously affecting my relationship with my gf. Neither my gf or the mother seem to care and that's what really stings the most. So I turn to you guys. Could anyone offer advice on how I could effectively manage this creature?
