This may be just my unreasonable freaking out, but I am a little worried for my two bengals.
I had them since last June, but the first winter I went through with them, we lived in a condo. At our condo, even if we didn't turn on the heating, our unit was still warm because of other units that turned on their heating. But, utilities were included so we didn't mind turning it on any time for however long period.
We moved few months ago, and this is my first winter out of a condo, and I haven't lived in a house in a while, nonetheless with pets. Right now, it's only 14-16 Celsius, but it's still cold, and the cats curl up as if they are cold, but honestly it might just be that that's how they sleep.
But I really do worry about the winter season, and I want to better prepare myself for the cats. We can just bundle up and drink hot tea.. but i feel bad for the cats. I know they have their fur and all but it must still be cold.
Other than buying space heaters, is there anything else that we can do? I havent noticed them trying to bury themselves into blankets, and even if i toss a warm blanket on them, they crawl out after a while.
What are some things that you guys do for your cats?
Thank you ..
