So my grandmother used to work at a courthouse. And there were these 2 stray cats. Well 3 years ago she retired and brought one of the stray cats home. He's used to my grandmother and grandfather but he goes out of his way to avoid me. Like right now I was sitting on the sofa in the living room and he walked in and as soon as he saw me he stopped in his tracks and slowly backed out. I don't know why he avoids me. Is he scared of me? How can I get him to be comfortable around me? Everytime I come into the room he either dashes out of the room or hides behind the furniture. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
