My 2 year old female mix (nothing specific) has been hiding under the couch the past 2 days, she hasn't seen me or my roommate for a few months, had her since she was a baby. Couldnt take her with me when I moved and the person she was with before introduced a feral cat into the house, caused massive stress on the relationship with her brother. We recently picked her up from there, brought her to the vet and now at my apartment. Shes still adjusting and hangs out on her scratching post sometimes and I can pet her perfectly fine. If we turn over the couches she presses herself really hard against a door to hide, she used to never do this a few months ago, we suspect something happened to her while we were away, any ideas or am I not giving her enough time?
