HELP - cat wont stop peeing everywhere

My male cat Kyro, had a UTI and was eliminating everywhere but his litter box. He has been to the vet twice, the first time he got a antibiotic shot that lasted two weeks and 3 pain killer pills. The second time (6 days ago today) he was prescribed Zeniquin for two weeks to see if that’d do anything. He did start using his litter box more than usual but now its kind of back to nothing and everytime I go to clean it nothings in there.

The last time he was at the vet, Kyros’ urine seemed “mostly clear” aka, no crystals/blockage/anything else thatd be bad. So the vet said its a bacterial thing but nothing too serious to worry about too much. Kyro also has just started eating/snacking on his litter which he has never done. The vet didn’t know what thats about and just said he’s never heard of that and told me to stop him if I see him doing it but didnt say much else about it.

I feel like I have tried basically everything and its now getting kind of frustrating. I do everything I possibly can for this cat because I wouldn’t trade him for anything. But I’m out of options and clueless what to do. I have a pretty big walk in closet where his litter box stays and I made him a little room in there so he doesn’t have to go far to his litter box and also so he isnt peeing/pooping all over my bedding, clothes, floors, rugs, his bedding, etc. I had to buy puppy pads to put on my floor that way he isnt walking and rolling around in puddles of his urine and feces. I bought him a brand new litter box thinking maybe he associated the other one with pain too much. I will admit, they look a little similar but not much. But i dont have too many options because it has to be a hooded one. Ever since he was a kitten he never squatted to pee so it just went all over my walls and floor.

Point is, I have bought him a new litter box, I clean up his urine with straight vinegar to take the smell away, he has been to the vet twice and went home with different antibiotics both times, I changed his kibble (his old kibble is what caused the uti i believe), he is confined to a room to be close to the litter box so he doesnt have to go far, and every morning I give him 1/8 of a teaspoon of D-Mannose powder. Which is basically a sugar in cranberries that is meant to flush out bad bacteria/infection the urinary tract and metabolism.

I just dont know what to do anymore and I need advice. Im only 18 and I have no idea what to do. I am not giving up/putting him down no matter what but lets just say my dad and stepmom are not happy about this situation at all/the amount of money I have been putting out and nothing seems to be working.

Do I let the antibiotics kick in more?(hes had 6 pills, 7 later today) Is it a behavioral thing now? Should I try taking the lid off the litter box just to test it?
