So there have been a couple of tornado threats in my area lately and I have 5 cats, I have an underground storm shelter in my backyard for protection, but I need advice on how to round up all of my cats in a timely manner in order to get them to safety with me if it ever gets to that point. I absolutely do not want to leave them in the house while my daughter and I take shelter. I’m pretty used to tornado watches so I’m somewhat familiar with when it’s actually a serious threat or if we’ll probably be ok. Problem is, when the time comes, there could be little time to get them all together without them running out of panic. I have one small cat carrier and five adult cats.
