This is my first dog, gf thought it would be good for me. He’s been great and I love him a lot but it’s been trying. First the cone ordeal, then him getting a kennel cough, which has mostly subsided.
Now this. We noticed the grains this morning. I gave him a pill of SENTRY WormXPlus 7 way de-worker. Have a vet appointment at 2:30 but I don’t know what they are going to do since we were just there a few days ago for the sneezing and I know without a doubt it’s tapeworm. Plus it’s 75$ just to talk to them. Just gave them 75$ for the last visit and we have another visit next week for the Parvo shot.
About an hour after we gave him the pill he pooped out was what clearly a white worm that was still moving.
But I’ve been freaking out, cleaned the hell out of everything. Kinda having a hard time dealing with him which is bothering him a lot because I usually give him a lot of attention. I don’t know I’m just having an anxiety.
Any advice is welcome. Vet says we have to wait till he’s 6 months for the flea medicine but I honestly don’t think he has fleas, we’ve washed him a few times and we never see flea poop.
