Okay so my kitty had been a stray for about a year so god knows what she was eating. But we have her on a diet of being fed two times a day a mix of wet food, gravy and dry food.
Recently she has been declining the dry food mixed in so I removed it. Now the problem arises that she doesn’t always get fed at the same time due to our schedule. We try to feed her two times a day.
Once at 6:30AM and once at about 6-7PM. Now I’m not sure if I’m feeding her enough. And sometimes she will meow and meow for food but when I give it to her she declines it and then runs in the kitchen to meow for the food she was just presented with.
And for instance this morning on my day off I woke up very late at about 9:30Am and her tummy was gurgling and she wasn’t begging for food like she normally does. And when I gave her food she didn’t want to have anything to do with it. I’m wondering if I should get an auto feeder but she only eats the wet food and I know it would go bad/get crusty if left inside.
Any advice welcome, keep in mind I’m new to this and she is my first cat. I want what’s best for her!! Thank you!! 💘💘💘
