I moved 8 hours away from my family and I’m struggling with loneliness, so I’m thinking of getting a small pet. I’m a college student and my dorm allows a small fish tank without a filter. I don’t know what kind of fish can live without a filter, and I’m pretty inexperienced with pet fish anyway, so I was thinking of getting a mammal.
What kinds of mammals can live in a 10-20 gallon aquarium? Besides mice; they’re adorable, but I had three when I was younger and they killed each other...so I don’t have a good association with them.
