I've had an interest in owning a corn snake or goldfish for a few years now, but I worry that I'll lose interest in them. Corn snakes are a 15-20 year commitment and goldfish are a 5-20 year commitment.
What makes you guys interested in pets that you can't play with? Is simply taking care of them amusing enough?
