So an hour and a half ago I was trying to play with my 7 week old kitten. Usually he is very friendly and cuddly and will sleep on me. Well I read online that one way to play with them is to poke him with a straw and he will try and catch the straw. So I tried that but he was frightened and tried cowering away. So i stopped immediately and then tried to pet him but he kept cowering from me and when i touched him he tried to scratch me. Here I did a stupid thing and tried to cuddle him to my chest as he usually loves it but this time he freaked out and I accidentally dropped him cuz he scratched at me really hard. I decided to give him space. Hes hiding under the couch and hasnt come out. I'm worried I've ruined him and that he will always be afraid of me now. Any advice?
