Over the weekend, I went to this class and we painted old cabinet doors. I chose a bigger door, about 2.5 ft wide and 3ft tall, and about an inch thick. I wanted to hang it, but it isn't the easiest thing to hang since it's just a door. So I used command strips, the velcro kind. The package said 4 strips can hold up to 16 lbs, but I used 9, three rows of three to try and distribute the weight. I have no clue how much this thing actually weighs (I don't own a scale) but it doesn't feel super heavy. I can carry it in one hand at least. Also don't know what wood it is.
I just worry that it'll fall and one of my kittens will be underneath it and really hurt one of them. I put it in a spot where they usually don't hang out, but I still worry. Does it seem safe to keep this up?
