It’s honestly been years since I’ve been dumb enough to leave something out, but alas, today it happened. My little 9 year old shit of a terrier ate half a block of cheddar and a small paper towel filled with 1 brownie, 1 chocolate chip cookie and 1 truffle (cookie bake-off at work) I KNOW YOU GUYS. I am the worst. He’s run the gamut of eating pure dark chocolate baking chips (7 years ago) to a personal chocolate pot brownie birthday cake (my roommates cake. did go to the vet this time- did cost 3k.) by the time I got home and realized I left the stupid bag on the stupid floor it had been hours. He wasn’t shaky and is acting completely normal. I have not called a vet or panicked and I guess I’m just looking for similar experiences. I know him well and I took him out and he immediately took a huge shit. I hope i don’t get shamed for being a bad dog mom, he’s my life. I would love to hear of the dumb shit your dog has done though and any additional advice. I suspect I will be woken up at any hour of the night to take him out. He’s good like that.
