My husky is about to turn 5 and fully potty trained. I’ve had him since he was 3 months old and he’s super cuddly and affectionate. In the last year though he’s been an asshole. Whenever we try to remove him from our bed or tell him to go on the floor (to one of the MANY dog beds we’ve gotten him) he immediately pees. Looks at us in the face and pees. We’ve tried taking him out before bed and taking up the water bowl an hour or two before bed, but he’ll still do it. So we just gave up and started putting him in the crate at night. This isn’t ideal bc we have another dog that I like to sleep in our room Bc he’s a great guard dog. I don’t want one dog in the crate while the other stays in our room, this seems to increase the spite peeings. I’m at a loss. We took him to the vet to check for a uti and they said it was just a behavioral thing. There is nothing I can find on anything like this happening. Please send help I’m so tired of cleaning up pee or being woken up to the sound of peeing. It’s truly maddening. P.s. we don’t scold him when he pees we just put him in the crate.
