Recently I got a new kitty. He is still getting settled into my home, but I have begun to notice that when he uses the box his paws tend to get a bit dirty. I have a foster that I had for a while with short fur, but my new cat has medium length fur. Up to this point I have been using a clumping sand for the litter box and haven't had problems with him, but I have begun to notice my new kitty seems to be having trouble with it getting stuck in his paws. I'm wondering if there is a better type of litter to use for him? I've been finding lots of kitty prints throughout the house or will catch him with dirty paws once he leaves the box. Recommendation or advice would be much appreciated!! Thank you for taking your time to respond!
