My friend and I are planning to move into an apartment together sometime next year. Thing is, she has a 4 year old female cat and I have a 9 year old male dog. We both don't want to give up our pets (me especially) if we don't have to. I was wondering if there is any possible chance to get these two along when the time comes? Are there any steps we could take? I know they're both older but if there's anything, we're willing to try it.
