Hey guys hoping someone can give me some good advice. Me and my girlfriend are moving in together mid March. I have 2 cats that have never lived with another animal and she has a dog who his kinda crazy but can be chill when we’re relaxing. I feel nervous my cats will resent me or hate me for moving them in with a dog. They met the dog once and they absolutely hated it. I suggested we get a gate that can screw into the wall that will keep them separated but she says her dog “will break the gate down” he is 80 lbs but idk how likely that is. If anyone can give advice that’d be great.
