I clean pools and this morning i found a baby bird in one of the skimmers and was sure it was already dead from the night before, but sure enough it was still alive. Long story short I was able to determine that it was helpless and parents weren’t coming back to care for it. I did some research and discovered that it is a mockingbird fledgling probably about 13 weeks old. I brought him home and set him up in an old bird cage.
I just don’t know what I need to do to keep him alive long enough to fend for himself.
