Hi,
I am not a reptile expert. I have never owned a reptile. I’m a plant and dog mom. So if anyone is knowledgeable on reptiles I’d love some input.
My sister recently got a leopard gecko (she is in high school) and when I heard how she was going to take care of it I was a little confused. Everything I had seen about leopard geckos (which was again very little) suggested that they ate live insects. My sister is feeding hers a sort of protein paste. I googled it and every article I saw said you HAVE to feed leopard geckos live insects. Some other species of geckos can be fed non-live but not léopards according to what I read. I’m afraid she is leaving it malnourished and not taking care of it properly. Any thoughts that could be shared would be greatly appreciated.
