I own 3 guinea pigs. They make many things which frustrates me. Like chewing bars... NO ONE likes that sound. Or making a mess in less than 10 minutes after I cleaned up their cage. Or just wheeking all day for food because they are spoiled brats. But I still love them. Recently I've got a new guinea pig friend for them. He isn't scared, will come to me, will roam over the whole house, lets me pet him. He doesn't really make anything that should frustrate me or make me hate him. But I do. I hate him. When I look at him I'm angry. I don't like him and can't seem to create any bond with him, even when I do exactly the same things with him that I do with my other guinea pigs.
So I am very curious, and can't seem to find answer anywhere, why people create a strong bond with the certain pet, but we don't like/feel nothing towards the other pet, even if they are both the same species.
