A couple of weeks ago my cat started throwing up. We took him to the emergency vet twice, did blood work, xrays, and an ultrasound. Bloodwork was fine. X-ray and ultrasound couldn’t find anything conclusive, besides swollen upper intestine. We tried an antibiotic and it helped wonders, and quickly.
Well here we are, almost 2 weeks after he finished the meds, and he’s begun throwing up again. In the matter of 30 minutes, he’s thrown up 4 times. Completely emptied the contents of his stomach.
We haven’t changed his food, he eats a spoonful of wet food in the morning but access to food throughout the day/night. No recent vaccinations. We pulled his food up for the night to try and relax his stomach. But I’m at a loss. I’m worried about him... when should we be overly concerned and bring him to the vet??
