My dog has been itching a bit lately and ive been using some topical spray on him to help, however I woke up to my poor lab with a swollen eye today. I have a vet appointment for him tomorrow but I was wondering if you guys thought, he has an open wound i found today to the left of his eye near where his eye is very swollen up and i was thinking maybe he just scratched too hard and got his eye a bit. I have been giving him benedryl to reduce swelling ( based off reccomended vet dosage) and put the cone of shame on him to help him get to the visit without irritating it further.
