I'm great at training dogs but I don't have much experience with birds. I also know birds are not dogs. My understanding is that birds need a lot of attention, training, and games to keep them mentally stimulated. Are there any breeds of birds that are more independent and deal with isolation well? I had a border collie that did well with being in isolation for long periods of time. We had a fenced in yard that he had room to run in and I showered him with attention when I got home. Can I have a similar routine with a bird? If so what are some breed recommendations?
