i have three cats. cat #1 has been quite sick for about a week now, she’s been in and out of veterinary care, so we have been keeping her in the bedroom so that we can monitor her and make sure she doesn’t get hurt or anything.
since she’s been doing better the last couple days, and the vet told us to start getting things back to normal. so, we’ve been leaving the door open for her if and when she feels ready to venture back into the house. cat #2 has come into the room a couple times, no big deal, and there’s been no problems. she just wants to her food that’s in there (this ones a fatty lol).
well, cat #1 wanted to come out of the room tonight, so i let her, even thought she really only just sat by the doorway. cat #3 started growling and hissing at her! she hid from cat #1 and was acting like she didn’t recognize her or something! when cat #3 has been with cat #1 since she was a baby!
does anyone know why this could be? has this ever happened with anyone else?
